Admin Rules

Here’s some ground rules as to what we expect from you when you apply for admin, this will hopefully help to gain respect of players also without getting on our bad sides.

-!Temper!- An Admin should never lose his / her temper with anyone, always be pleasant no matter what, if someone is giving you attitude (swearing abuse etc) Ignore it unless it starts to effect others and always be POLITE, Personal anger example: If someone is standing to close to a window or on the edge and is at risk of being knifed that is no reason to punish that person in any way, it’s his / her right to do so and you should find another spot if it bothers you that much

-!Weapon abuse!- Do NOT continually use the command @give [Name] weapon_[Name] every round, as it will be noticed and complaints will be sent in from players

-!Important!- Do NOT use @noclip [Name] or the @teleport [Name] feature at the start of each round to get you to the best position of the special map

-!No Clipping abuse!- Also NEVER use the @noclip feature to gain any kills at all, whether it be knifing a player in a high up position or to randomly float out of reach of zombies (we’re not big fans of @noclip only use it if essential)

-!Chat!- Only use the Admin chat for admin related matters, ALL chat which is general should be said normally, unless in spectator when normal chat doesn’t show to others

-!Self Gain!- You did agree to this in your interview, but never use Admin powers for personal gain or to punish people you’ve had dis-agreements with in the past This will NOT be tolerated and you risk loosing admin

–!Banning!- Handing out bans is the strongest power an admin can have, we trust your judgment on when to hand out bans in certain situations. Here’s a guideline, there’s different lengths of bans. For a continual verbal abuser after rejoining after being kicked time and time again hand out a 5 minute ban. For a more sever offence such as any type of hack deal out the longest ban you have power to, make a note of their Steam ID first so you can hand it to Moonlight or such other Admin. (Other scenarios we hope you use ban wisely)

-!Fun Player Management!- Remember admin ISN’T a toy, so the fun player management must be used correctly, you can NEVER use Fire Bombs OR Freeze Bombs on a player, individual freezing and burning for blockers and mis-behaviours yes, but never any of the bombs

-!Teleporting!- We expect you to use this feature to help players who are stuck beyond help, we do NOT expect you to use it to ferry people around, teleporting friends to a good spot on the map is NOT allowed

-!Reminder!- Always remember you’re human like the others, don’t change the way you play because of admin powers use them to keep it a pleasant and fun environment to play in :-)
